Welcome back to the Pimp-Out/Showcase Hop!!!
This "Weekly" Pimp-Out/Showcase Hop is to gain new followers as well as bring more traffic to your blog and at the same time receive greater exposure. It is also a great way to meet other bloggers, exchange ideas, get great tips and learn new techniques; all while showing your "art".
Before we begin, there are just a few simple rules to the hop.
1. Follow the Host (first link):
2. Follow the showcased blogger: Janet's Creative World (second link)
3. Link up below using Linky Tools.
4. Visit at least 3 blogs from the linked up list below and leave a comment. Let them know you came from the Weekly "Pimp-Out/Showcase" Hop and inform them you are a follower so they can return the favor.
~Please remember that if someone from the hop follows you, be sure to return the favor~
This week's Pimp-Out/Showcase belongs to Janet from Janet's Creative World.
Welcome and I'm happy to meet you! My hubby and I are "empty nestors". We have 2 sons and 2 daughters, with 4 grand children between 3 of those! We love spoiling them, especially the one who lives the closest, and then sending her home! The others live out of state but are always in our hearts. I have been crafting since I was young, yes, even then, there were crafts! My aunts taught me how to crochet, knit, needlepoint and any other craft they thought I'd enjoy! I loved to sew my own Barbie clothes! She was well-dressed between what they made and I made!

I became involved with Girl Scouts, as a girl, but what changed my life was when my daughters became involved and I was the leader! I loved it!! Finding new ways to earn a badge, or trying something different kept me busy but the girls who are now entering their 30's and 40's, still tell me how much fun they had! When I joined the staff of the local council I thought I had died and gone to heaven! I loved interacting with the girls as well as the adults and sharing tips and what they were doing!
Now I'm concentrating on paper crafts, both card making and scrapbooking! I currently design for Creative Kuts who is sponsoring this week! I also design for Kreative Karma Blog, a group of friends who just love to craft and showcase our products, and Cuttin' and Stampin'. That's a Challenge blog so check it out if you haven't! I also design for Pinque Peacock, which is unique handmade fabric and felt flowers, buttons, and stick pins!
I am a Tool/Machine OCD victim! I have Cricuts, Cartridges and now the Cameo! I love all the SVG's and other digital files out there!
Enough about me, here's a project I made today from a file that is one of many new ones over at Creative Kuts! Check it out:
I used CTMH (which I sell if you need anything) and just love these cute bees! They'd be great on a card as well, maybe a stamped sentiment such as Be Well, Be Happy, etc. I inked all the pieces, layered them and arranged them on the background paper which resembles honeycomb! That sun just makes me smile, especially since it's spring but we got all that snow these past few days... I have plenty of photos of my newest grandchildren to put on the mats who are always "just beein' cute!".
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out how to win the giveaway and be sure to link up with us!
