Pimpin' "IS" Eezy! (Love 2 Create It All)

Welcome back to the Pimp-Out/Showcase Hop!!!
Brought to you by Deezy Does It!

This "Weekly" Pimp-Out/Showcase Hop is to gain new followers as well as bring more traffic to your blog and at the same time receive greater exposure.  It is also a great way to meet other bloggers, exchange ideas, get great tips and learn new techniques; all while showing your "art".

Before we begin, there are just a few simple rules to the hop.
1. Follow the Host (first link):
2. Follow the showcased blogger: Love 2 Create (Second link)
3. Link up below using Linky Tools.
4. Visit at least 3 blogs from the linked up list below and leave a comment.  Let them know you came from the Weekly "Pimp-Out/Showcase" Hop and inform them you are a follower so they can return the favor.
~Please remember that if someone from the hop follows you, be sure to return the favor~

This week's Pimp-Out/Showcase belongs to Lucy from Love 2 Create
Hello!  My name is Lucy Kelleher and I am so excited to be a here at Deezy Does It!!  This is such a fun blog!
I have been blogging since May 2009 at Love 2 Create.  (link: http://love2createitall.com).  I live in Southern California with my amazing husband of 12 years.   We met while training in Aikido, a Japanese martial art almost 20 years ago.  We now own our own Aikido dojo (school) where I teach our children’s classes.  I became a trial paralegal right out of school but decided to change careers about 8 years ago.  I went back to school and became a teacher.  After 5 years of teaching 3rd and 4th grade students, I am now a full-time Close to My Heart consultant and LOVING it!  I have traded in teaching my little guys for teaching and creating memories with my “big” kids.

Here's a banner I made:

And matching cards to go along with the banner above:
I have to admit that I was never particularly craft growing up.   I always wanted it to be “perfect” the first time I made something.  Hardly a stress-free activity!  I began crafting over 12 years ago when I saw a mother of one of my students working on cards in her car while waiting for her sons to come out. She invited me to a card workshop and I have been absolutely hooked every since.  I have been with Close to My Heart for a little over 7 years now and am always amazed at all the new products they come up with every year.  Every new Idea Book inspires me.  Even though I have only been in the blogging world for a couple of years, I just LOVE posting my projects and ideas and getting feedback from others.  I am a firm believer that there are really no “mistakes” in creating.  ANYTHING can be fixed!  Absolutely anything!    (If you could only see the things that didn't make it to the blog - of course, they were fixed so you can't see them!).
